The kits, given to age groups from under
11s upwards, are emblazoned with the Red
Rock Partnership logo, as are the Notts
Outlaws’ Friends Life t20 kits seen through
their 2013 campaign.
Eddie Burke, Player Pathway Development
Officer atTrent Bridge, was quick to thank
Red Rock Partnership for their continued
backing of both the professional and
recreational game.
“We are honoured to gain such local
support and their investment in us will
enable us to bring on a significant number
of players and coaches in the local area,”
he said.

“Red Rock Partnership’s backing has a
massive impact on recreational cricket
through the winter months, as well as the
summer.”
Burke added: “The winter gets forgotten
in that respect, but from a coaching
perspective it’s really important.”
The most valuable form of support from
Red Rock has come in the form of a
bursary geared toward allowing children
from all backgrounds get more involved
with the sport.
“It is an excellent support mechanism
to ease the financial burden on families,
enabling their children to play cricket at a
good standard and compete at a high level,
which is invaluable,” said Burke.
Red Rock Partnership were represented
on the day by Managing Director Matthew
Pearl, who said:
“One of the key things for Red Rock
Partnership as a whole is supporting
and sponsoring cricketers from a very
young age.”
“One of the best things that could happen
out of all this is that one child wearing our
shirt could develop through the age groups,
even to playing for England atTrent
Bridge.”
More than 100 members of the Nottinghamshire Cricket
Board recreational sides were present at Trent Bridge at
Notts Outlaws’ YB40 clash against Sussex Sharks in June,
all wearing kits sponsored by Red Rock Partnership.
