It is a project with which she feels an emotional and spiritual connection; to her, using cricket for the greater good is a cause which comes from the heart. A s cliché as it might seem, a sense of greater purpose is Farah Khan’s number one criterion for the perfect profession. Intertwined with her faith – which forms a central part of her being – making a positive difference to her community is fundamental. This is why, in June 2023, when Farah was made aware of the new Community Engage- ment Officer position at Trent Bridge, it was an opportunity she could not ignore. “This is a job where I can be me,” Farah smiles as she recalls her first year with the club. “My skillset is people, and bringing them together. “Then you’ve got a world-renowned venue that is Trent Bridge.
